Let's Play Pickleball

Kick off wedding day with pickleball! Wedding Ceremony and Reception

Please arrive to Sargent House by 4:00 PM to enjoy a pre-ceremony beverage. Transportation will be provided between the Oakwood Resort and the Brook Pointe Inn. Shuttles will start at 3:15 PM and the last shuttle will depart at 3:45 PM. For those driving, parking is available at the Wawasee Golf Club - 12388 N Bishop Road, Syracuse IN. Shuttles will be waiting to bring you to Sargent House. Shuttles start at 3:15 PM and the last shuttle will depart at 3:45 PM. Please note, no parking (cars or boats!) will be available at Sargent House. Shuttles will be running throughout the reception to return to the Wawasee Golf Club, the Oakwood Resort, and the Brooke Pointe Inn. Schedule

We know Lake Wawasee isn't the easiest destination to get to, so we greatly appreciate you making the trip to celebrate with us! We can't wait to share our favorite place with you. Lodging is limited at Lake Wawasee so we strongly encourage guests to start making travel arrangements! The closest major airports to Wawasee are Indianapolis and Chicago. Both are around 2.5 - 3 hours from the lake. There are no transit options from either city to Lake Wawasee so we recommend renting a car. Fort Wayne and South Bend are both around an hour to the Lake, but have a more limited flight selection. You would need to rent a car from those airports as well as there are no Ubers/taxis at Lake Wawasee. Transportation will be provided from the Oakwood and the Brook Pointe to and from the ceremony and reception. The Oakwood will also be the location for our welcome drinks on Friday night.

NOTE: Room block is full. We have a reserved block of rooms at the Oakwood ranging from $259 to $299 per night. Our welcome drinks will be held here on Friday night. Our room block is only being held until May 26, 2025 so make your reservation before that date! Please call or email the Oakwood directly to book rooms at (574) 457-7100 or info@oakwoodresort.com and mention the Button/Morris wedding.

Oakwood Resort

We do not have a room block here but this is another option in located in the town of Syracuse. The hotel is not directly on the lake. Rooms are around $150 a night.

Brook Pointe Resort

We do not have a room block here, but this hotel is 20 minutes away in Goshen, IN. Rooms are around $100 a night.

Hampton Inn Goshen

We do not have a room block here but this is another option 30 minutes away in Warsaw, IN. Rooms are around $100 a night.
